The Role Your mission GotPhoto is looking for an Junior Strategy Associate - Location: Berlin hybrid, temporary position - 12 months, to drive high-impact initiatives alongside our CEO and leadership team. This role offers unrivaled insights into scaling a business backed by EQT, one of the world’s leading Private Equity firms. Prepare for a steep learning curve! Responsibilities - Strategic Sparring: You provide strategy support to our CEO and leadership team, incl. the preparation of high-stakes Board Meetings and other decision making formats - Strategic Partnerships: You identify, analyse and execute deals with international product partners - from commercial logic to legal finalization - Performance Tracking: You track the ROI of product solutions and partnerships, ensuring measurable value is created - Special Projects: Whether it’s a new pricing model, developing a new business area, or M&A - you contribute to critical Strategy projects with strong execution focus. We are looking for - Academic Track Record: You have completed your degree from a renowned university/business school in Business, Economics, or similar - High-Growth Experience: You have gained initial experience (~1 year or several high-impact internships) in fast-paced environments like Startups, Strategy Consulting, or Venture Capital - Analytical Sharpness: You possess a "first-principles" thinking approach, you can deconstruct complex problems and build robust business cases - The "Owner" Mindset: You are proactive, take extreme ownership, and thrive when given the freedom to execute - Communication: Fluency in English is essential; German is a strong plus. - A FINAL WORD: Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds may refrain from applying for positions if they feel they don't meet all qualifications.
