We are looking for… The Sisense Product Team is looking for a skilled, experienced, technical, & hands-on Product Manager with experience in building modern B2B platforms, analytics, and exceptional developer-first platform experiences, to take our industry-leading embedded analytics platform to the next level. This role will be best suited for a creative, driven, technical product manager who can own and execute a significant segment in the transformative vision & strategy of our analytics platform, with a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by application builders who create products using our platform, and work closely with the engineering team to make that vision a reality.
Requirements
You are an experienced, technical product manager with 2+ years of product management experience building large-scale SaaS B2B platforms. You understand what makes a platform desirable and sticky for technical users like PMs, developers, and analysts. You know the data analytics and BI ecosystem. You’re familiar with tools for data modeling, ETL, data visualization, and semantic modeling. You’re familiar with today’s leading products in this market. You have experience in working with AI technologies and shipping AI-powered product features. You are customer-obsessed and love partnering with customers to advocate for their needs, collaborate on feature design, and ensure their success. You have the ability to grasp complex technical concepts, simplify and break them down to articulate requirements, and communicate clearly and professionally to both technical and business audiences. You are hands-on & detail-oriented. You regularly use quantitative usage data and qualitative insights from stakeholders and engineers. You keep asking “why,” challenge common assumptions, and ensure that what you build is what customers need & expect. You enjoy knowing what’s going on “under the hood” and can just as easily have a deeply technical conversation with the developer about a feature's design, or with a customer about the business value that a given technology provides. You have taken multiple product capabilities & features from ideation to impact. You can define priorities and lead cross-team efforts to create real customer value. You have a proven track record as a “make things happen” kind of person. You feel at home engaging in both inbound and outbound activities - from deep dives into design to leading webinars, meetups, and workshops. You enjoy working on a broad range of topics, with cross-functional teams, and collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including partners, marketing, and salespeople.
Your Responsibilities
Take part in shaping the next generation of Sisense’s embedded analytics platform, collaborating with a diverse group of peers to overcome challenges and stay ahead of the pack in a highly competitive market. Define end-to-end requirements for Sisense’s core capabilities and drive their delivery from ideation & design, through engineering, to enablement and go-to-market. Identify, collect, analyze, and advocate for customer needs. Communicate the roadmap, vision, and strategy of your domain to key stakeholders. Create feature presentations and documentation to explain the capabilities to both internal and external audiences. Define, measure, report, and achieve success on KPIs that represent desired business outcomes.
