Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role will support the Accounts Payable and Accounting functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy of payments and their related financial statement impact.
Responsibilities
Process and review purchase orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, receiving and approvals. Communicate with procurement team and accounting team to resolve issues Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies timely Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 requirements Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain necessary approvals Assist in month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and manage early payment discounts Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships Review and approve employee purchase card transactions to ensure proper approvals and support as well as appropriate GL categorization and impact
Qualifications
Previous accounts payable experience required Experience with Netsuite a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Stellar organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
