Responsibilities
Manages turnovers, work orders, inventory, vendor management, and groundskeeping Leads aspects of people management, including hiring, performance management, and career development Collaborate with the Construction Team to plan, execute, and report on renovations, preventative maintenance, and capex projects Oversee safety efforts for your team Complete high-skilled work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to lower vendor costs Monitor expenditures and adhere to the budget Source and coordinate external contractors, vendors, and suppliers as necessary Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate Successful Candidate Profile Work Requirements Eligible to work in the United States Active driver’s license and a personal, reliable, and insured vehicle Able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance Able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases Skills & Qualifications Expertise in two of the following trades: Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Carpentry, HVAC 6+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance 2+ years of experience as a supervisor of people Experience managing multiple properties at once Work Style Servant hearted Enthusiastic about technology Lead with emotional intelligence Team player who can work independently Comfortable working within established processes Strong commitment to timely and accurate work Organized and detail-oriented Proficient in budgets, cost control techniques, and reporting Benefits $31-$33 per hour Weekly pay Medical, Vision, and Dental health insurance with company contribution 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid time off Paid holidays Sick time Mileage reimbursement Professional development reimbursement program Profit-sharing program Discount at Birgo properties More about Birgo We take care of our hardworking team by providing opportunities for professional growth, paying attention to holistic staff needs, and celebrating life together.
