Summary
The Quality Engineer (“QE”) is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality requirements of AS9100 (Quality Management System) on projects and products within SSP. QE should be able to set quality assurance inspection and testing methods for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Assist in developing quality control policies and evaluate production limitations. Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed by QE level 4 or supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree required, with a strong preference for a degree in an engineering discipline or other technical field.
Prior experience (0-2 years) in the aerospace industry preferred.
