About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join our MEP – Supply Chain Management team in Zanesville, OH to support a Data Center Project in Conesville, OH.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the central contact for warehouse logistics operations, overseeing equipment deliveries, inventory management, and quality control.
Responsible for inventory accuracy, shipment verification, and warehouse quality assurance.
Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, carriers, project teams, and onsite operations.
Review equipment specifications, procurement documentation, and project requirements for alignment with logistics processes.
Evaluate and update logistics workflows, receiving procedures, picking processes, packing standards, and material staging plans.
Manage inspections of inbound equipment, including quality checks and discrepancy resolution.
Support issue resolution during inspection and commissioning activities. Oversee shipment readiness. Track and report on logistics milestones, including procurement status, shipping schedules, and inventory availability.
Create and maintain checklists, inspection reports, discrepancy logs, and warehouse performance documentation.
Coordinate with QA/QC, site operations, procurement, and trade partners to support project schedule and quality expectations.
Implement tools, systems, and best practices to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
Communicate logistics or quality risks to leadership and support mitigation plans.
Lead coordination meetings between logistics facility operations, vendors, carriers, and onsite teams.
Facilitate integration meetings between vendors and onsite contractors.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, inventory management, or distribution operations OR High school diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, inventory management, or distribution operations. Ability to travel as needed. Familiarity with large-scale warehouse operations and handling of high-value or mission-critical materials.
Experience with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) and warehouse technology.
Ability to read and interpret material specifications, shipping documentation, and inventory reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change, and present ideas clearly.
Proven ability to develop and lead teams, provide constructive feedback, and encourage high performance.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
