Stay Manager (M/W/X)- Temporary contract - Portugal - 2026
About Lecollectionist
Description
This position must be filled from asap to September 30, 2026.
🎯 Role
As the Stay Manager, you are the guardian of the guest experience on the ground of the guest journey. From the Paris office, you act as the central point of coordination for our Portugal seasonal activity. Reporting directly to the Resort Manager, you orchestrate field teams and partners from your desk to ensure every property is flawless and every guest feels supported. This is a high-impact role focused on strategic oversight and real-time problem solving, ensuring that Le Collectionist’s signature excellence is delivered seamlessly across all our destinations.
✨Key Missions & Objectives
(80%) Guest Experience & On-site Operations
- The "Guardian of Quality": Supervise the welcome experience for every guest. You will manage more than 10 on-site providers to make sure everything is ready for the stays.
- Operational Execution: Oversee check-in/check-out flows and conduction of property audits to ensure our demanding standards are met.
- Crisis & Conflict Resolution: You are the lead point of contact for any on-site issues. You resolve technical or service challenges with speed and diplomacy, turning potential friction into a seamless stay.
- Asset Protection: Supervise property condition reports (Check-in & Check-out forms), manage sensitive discussions regarding security deposits and damages to coordinate discussions between owners and guests.
(20%) Coordination & Team Support
- Field Coordination: Supervise schedules of field teams and partners to ensure flawless property preparation.
- Internal Synergy: Act as the bridge between the Sales, Concierge, and Supply teams to ensure guest preferences are perfectly communicated and executed.
- Reporting: Maintain updates on guest stays and property status in our tools (HubSpot) to ensure the team is always aligned.
- Experience: Proven track record in operations, luxury hospitality, or premium guest relations. You are comfortable in high-pressure, seasonal environments.
- Linguistic Skills: English is mandatory. Fluency in Portuguese or French is a strong asset, but the ability to communicate effectively with international guests and local partners is what matters most.
- Resourcefulness: You are a "Swiss Army Knife" : solution-oriented, proactive, and capable of fixing problems on the fly.
- Soft Skills: Impeccable presentation, strong empathy, and the authority to manage local providers and house staff.
- Tech Literacy: Comfortable using basic digital tools (smartphone apps, CRM) to track tasks and guest notes.
- Mobility: Local market knowledge and a network of local providers are a plus.
