Run Payroll Like a Pro Execute timely, accurate payroll processing across all employees Track hours, deductions, adjustments, and changes with zero margin for error Turn Data Into Insight Analyze payroll data for trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities Build reports that actually help leadership make decisions (not just check boxes) Be the Compliance Backbone Ensure payroll aligns with federal, Hawaiʻi state, and local labor laws Stay ahead of regulatory changes — not behind them Build Better Systems Maintain and improve payroll systems (ADP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) Partner with HR + IT to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies Own Certified Payroll + Audits Manage certified payroll reporting for projects Conduct audits, reconcile accounts, and resolve issues before they escalate Be the Go-To Handle employee payroll questions with clarity, urgency, and professionalism Protect confidentiality like it’s non-negotiable (because it is) Drive Continuous Improvement Identify breakdowns → fix them Recommend smarter, faster, more accurate ways to operate What You Bring Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of payroll experience (construction industry = strong advantage) Technical Strength Deep understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance Experience with payroll systems (ADP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.) Advanced Excel skills (you don’t just use spreadsheets — you command them) Mindset Detail-obsessed (the good kind) Highly organized in fast-paced environments Discreet, trustworthy, and professional with sensitive data Problem-solver who doesn’t wait to be told Cultural Fit (Non-Negotiable) You Lead with Heart — even when it’s busy You believe in Strength in Unity — no lone wolves You bring an Alpha Mentality — ownership, grit, and pride in your work Why Alpha?
