We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented External Affairs Intern to join our team! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in federal government relations and public policy. You will assist with various government affairs projects, including legislative tracking, policy analysis, and advocacy efforts, while also gaining exposure to the legislative process and the work of a government affairs team.

How You Will Contribute Support external affairs communication to partners; including regular updates on legislative and campaign activity as well as collaboration opportunities Attend coalition meetings and events Support Washington DC sponsorships and Government Affairs-related marquee events Support coalition letter activity Collect intelligence updates on key legislative priorities

What You Will Bring Strong interest in government affairs and external affairs Excellent research, writing and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Ability to work with basic direction and move forward with initiative and critical thinking Ability to meet deadlines and act with appropriate sense of urgency Enthusiastic about and dedicated to the vision and principles of our organization
