Director of Growth
About Insigniscash
Description
We are a fast-growing, FinTech company looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are expanding, making this a perfect position if you would like to have a significant impact on our company’s growth and develop your role and career as the business evolves. You will join a team where your ideas will be welcomed and valued.
We’re now investing in the growth function to match the ambition of the business — and we’re looking for a Director of Growth to lead it.
This is a rare brief: broad ownership, real commercial accountability and the chance to build something that scales. You’ll own the full growth engine — from how we generate and capture demand, to how we convert it, retain it and turn it into referrals. You’ll determine the strategy across each of our core audiences, build the infrastructure to deliver it consistently, and lead a team to execute it.
The business has already done the hard work of proving product-market fit across multiple segments. What it needs now is a growth leader who can take that proof and turn it into a scalable, repeatable, commercially accountable machine.
You’ll balance setting direction with execution. This is not a role for someone who delegates and reviews. It’s for someone who shapes the strategy, builds the systems and rolls up their sleeves when it matters.
Role Responsibilities
Acquisition — inbound and outbound
- Own the digital acquisition engine across paid search, paid social, retargeting, outbound demand programmes and emerging channels
- Design always-on and campaign-based activity that generates high-intent demand across core segments: business, not-for-profit, individual and partner-introduced audiences
- Build and run a structured experimentation roadmap — testing new channels, improving existing channel economics, and increasing acquisition velocity
- Define and execute the event strategy (online and offline), working closely with sales to evaluate ROI and focus investment where it drives pipeline
- Own the inbound funnel — generating high-quality leads and partnering with sales to convert them into pipeline and revenue
- Build of AI agents to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve workflows.
Website and conversion
- Own the Insignis website end-to-end as the primary education, acquisition and conversion channel
- Continually optimise the online customer journey for each audience segment — landing pages, messaging, CTAs — to maximise conversion across all traffic sources
- Partner with the brand, content and product marketing team to define and prioritise content required to build trust, support conversion and reduce friction: proof points, education, FAQs, case studies, onboarding clarity
Lifecycle, CRM and nurture
- Own lifecycle marketing across the full customer journey — building nurture and retention programmes that improve conversion rates, shorten the sales cycle and increase platform usage
- Analyse the customer journey in partnership with sales, identifying the highest-value opportunities to improve conversion and revenue at each stage
- Ensure lifecycle activity is tightly aligned to sales processes, with clear definitions, ownership, SLAs and KPIs at each stage
Growth infrastructure and insight
- Own the core growth infrastructure: lead scoring, routing, lifecycle definitions, marketing automation and reporting
- Partner with RevOps to maintain data quality, funnel logic and commercial alignment
- Provide clear, decision-ready dashboards and reporting across acquisition, conversion and pipeline influence
Cross-functional leadership
- Work closely with brand and communications to ensure demand generation is supported by a clear, consistent narrative
- Partner with sales and product marketing to align on ICP, personas, lead scoring and SLAs
- Collaborate with product to reduce friction at the transition from acquisition into onboarding — improving time to value and platform activation
What this role offers
- Genuine scope. You’ll own the full growth journey — from awareness and education through to retention and referral — across a multi-segment, multi-channel business.
- Opportunity to build out the growth team from FT hires to agency and freelance support.
- Real commercial impact. Clear ownership for improving qualified demand, pipeline contribution and revenue. You’ll see the results of your decisions directly.
- The freedom to build. Insignis is profitable and well-capitalised. You’ll have the budget, the mandate and the team to develop and scale the growth engine properly.
- A pivotal moment. The foundations are in place. The traction is proven. This is the hire that converts that proof into scale.
- A collaborative environment. A senior marketing leadership team (brand, content, product marketing) you’ll work alongside — not around.
Requirements
We’re looking for a senior growth leader who combines commercial instinct with delivery discipline.
Experience and track record
- Significant B2B growth, demand generation and digital marketing experience — ideally in fintech, financial services or another regulated industry
- Proven track record of turning demand generation into pipeline and revenue, not just traffic or activity
- Experience navigating a multi-ICP, multi-channel environment — Insignis serves businesses, not-for-profits, individuals, advisers and accountants, each with distinct buying journeys and decision-makers
- A strong working understanding of the full growth stack: paid acquisition, lifecycle/CRM, conversion optimisation, attribution and revenue reporting
- Experience partnering closely with sales, product and RevOps, with clear ownership and accountability across the funnel
How you work
- Comfortable holding both strategy and execution — able to set direction, make trade-offs and still work in the detail when it matters
- Data-led, with the ability to prioritise and make decisions with imperfect information
- A credible, confident communicator — able to translate complex propositions into effective growth journeys and influence senior stakeholders without relying on hierarchy
- Energised by scaling environments where ownership is real, standards are high and priorities shift
- Curious about and comfortable with AI-powered tools and modern martech — an expectation that you’ll leverage these to move faster, not work harder
Benefits
- 25 days holiday (exc. Bank holidays)
- 5% Pension contributions
- Private medical insurance with Vitality
- Health cash Plan offering contributions to dental, optical and much more
- Enhanced Parental Leave
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Monthly team lunches, quarterly company socials
