The Marketing Manager is responsible for elevating DRC’s public profile, strengthening its brand, and ensuring the firm’s message reaches the right audience in compelling ways. This is a strategic, high-visibility role that directly supports the CSO in advancing DRC’s reputation and fueling the firm’s long-term growth. About the Role DRC is seeking an experienced, creative, and strategically minded Marketing Manager to lead the firm’s marketing function and elevate DRC’s visibility, reputation, and thought leadership across the legal industry.
This leader will oversee all aspects of DRC’s marketing strategy, including content, website, PR, advertising, events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements, and ensure that all marketing activities strengthen DRC’s brand positioning and align directly with DRC’s Business Development priorities.
The Marketing Manager will play a central role in shaping how DRC shows up in the market, how the firm communicates its value, and how the company expands its profile among litigators, in-house counsel, and legal influencers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with DRC’s growth objectives, BD priorities, and brand positioning.
Refine and maintain DRC’s brand identity, messaging framework, and value proposition across all channels.
Ensure all content and marketing materials reinforce DRC’s decades of experience and competitive strengths. Content Development & Thought Leadership Lead creation of thought leadership pieces, articles, speaking materials, social content, and digital assets that reinforce DRC’s credibility.
Collaborate with senior leadership to generate strategic insights and high-value content for partners and clients.
Ensure messaging is consistent across BD outreach, proposals, website content, publications, and presentations. Website, Digital Presence & Advertising Oversee ongoing improvements to DRC’s website, including content updates, user experience, and messaging clarity.
Manage digital campaigns, SEO/SEM initiatives, and targeted advertising to strengthen brand visibility.
Track engagement metrics to assess campaign performance and recommend data-driven optimizations. Events, Sponsorships & Speaking Engagements Identify and manage DRC’s presence at conferences, sponsorship opportunities, and industry events.
Coordinate speaking engagements for senior leadership and ensure presentations align with brand messaging.
Develop event strategies that increase exposure to high-value attorneys and in-house teams. Public Relations & Reputation Management Oversee PR efforts, including press relationships, announcements, award submissions, and media positioning.
Ensure DRC’s public presence is consistent, polished, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
Elevate DRC’s reputation as a premier national trial strategy and jury consulting firm. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with DRC’s BD leadership team to ensure marketing campaigns support outreach priorities and subject-matter specific targeting.
Partner with the DRC’s Sales Enablement team to maintain consistent messaging across proposals, collateral, and templates.
Collaborate with Caroline (BD Analyst) to incorporate litigation intelligence into marketing strategy when relevant.
Ensure the Marketing Strategist/Coordinator (October hire) has clear direction and strong support for execution. Ideal Qualifications 5–8+ years in marketing, communications, brand strategy, or content development within a professional services, consulting, or legal environment.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to translate complex concepts into persuasive, accessible content.
Experience managing websites, digital campaigns, and brand systems.
Experience developing and executing comprehensive thought leadership campaigns involving event speaking engagements, client presentations, article placements, and PR.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Collaborative, polished communicator with strong professional presence.

Compensation
$95,000-$130,000 The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by several factors, including but not limited to education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographical location. It does not include overtime compensation, which DRC provides in alignment with state regulations.
