<div>Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented OSP (Outside Plant) Permitter to join our fiber construction team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between field data and official city/utility approvals. You will be responsible for translating field measurements into precise CAD drawings and navigating the regulatory landscape to secure the necessary permits for our high-speed fiber deployments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities</div>- Design & Drafting: Use AutoCAD to create detailed permit drawings, including plan and profile views of intersections, existing utilities, and proposed fiber routes.- Data Integration: Take raw field measurements and survey data to accurately plot distances and infrastructure onto digital maps.- GIS Mapping: Utilize ArcGIS/ESRI platforms to manage spatial data and ensure project alignment with existing utility grids.- Permit Lifecycle Management: Prepare, submit, and track permit applications through various agencies (City, County, DOT, and private utilities).- Quality Control: Ensure all drawings meet both customer specifications and the strict standards of local permitting jurisdictions.- Collaboration: Coordinate with field technicians and project managers to resolve any design conflicts discovered during the permitting process.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Technical Proficiency: * AutoCAD (Mandatory): Advanced ability to create technical drawings from scratch.

GIS Software: Experience with ArcGIS, ESRI, or similar spatial mapping tools.
