We are seeking a highly motivated recent graduate to join Siepe’s Kuala Lumpur office and be part of a rapidly growing team supporting the US and European operations. This role offers hands‑on exposure to the loan markets where you’ll help settle European syndicated loan trades.
The ideal candidate is someone who learns quickly and takes pride in precision and detail. You’ll receive structured, intensive on‑the‑job training from experienced professionals, gaining the knowledge and skills needed to build a strong foundation in financial operations and data management within the fintech and credit investment space.
This is a full‑time, office‑based role (5 days a week) in Kuala Lumpur. Given Siepe’s global operations, this position primarily supports US and European operations, and as such, involves non‑standard working hours (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM Malaysia time) to align with our clients’ business hours. We’re looking for a driven, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is eager to grow alongside a market leader in financial technology.
What You’ll be Doing Daily trade allocations. Following up with clients/ counterparties where discrepancies exist on trades received. Liasing with counterparties and agent banks to settle loan trades. Following the trade lifecycle from trade date to settlement date. Liasing with custodians to ensure payments are sent or received. Ensuring final pricing documents are correct and settled in Solvas. Settling trades through ClearPar and offline methods. Reviewing loan trades documentation Confirms, Transfer Certs, Funding Memos and MNAs. Sending drawdown requests for the client's warehouse deals. Ensuring cash balances are within acceptable limits.
What You'll Bring Meticulous with an eye for detail. Flexible with working hours and time-off. Shows initiative and takes ownership of job responsibilities, performing duties accurately and timely. Fluent in English, written and spoken. Degree in Accounting, Finance/Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or Actuarial Science is preferred but other subjects are also acceptable. Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.2 or equivalent and have already graduated or be graduating within the next two months. No more than 2 years of professional work experience in total. Financial services experience is not required, but any relevant experience in the financial services industry may be an advantage (e.g. in loan operations or credit markets). Knowledge of Solvas or S&P ClearPar highly desirable. If selected, you must be able to attend an in-person interview in Kuala Lumpur within the next 4-6 weeks.
