Role Overview We are seeking a CDP Implementation Analyst who brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and business analysis, responsible for implementing and optimizing Customer Data Platform (CDP) solutions that drive meaningful customer experiences and business outcomes. You will partner closely with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions—owning everything from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and stakeholder enablement.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Strategy
Partner with stakeholders to define business goals, customer journeys, and CDP use cases Translate requirements into measurable outcomes and prioritized implementation roadmaps Conduct discovery workshops and define KPIs to track success
- CDP Implementation & Data Architecture
Design customer data models, event taxonomies, and identity resolution frameworks Configure CDP features such as segmentation, event tracking, and data ingestion (real-time/batch) Build and manage integrations across Martech systems (CRM, CMS, ESP, etc.) Ensure scalable and high-performance data architecture
- Data Governance & Quality
Establish data governance standards, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., DPDP, GDPR) and consent management
- Activation & Optimization
Enable audience activation across channels (email, web, mobile, paid media) Support personalization and journey orchestration using CDP insights Monitor performance and drive continuous optimization and experimentation
- Delivery, Collaboration & Enablement
Lead end-to-end CDP implementation including testing, QA, and deployment Act as a bridge between business, marketing, and engineering teams Conduct UAT, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solution quality Drive stakeholder enablement, adoption, and training
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Document architecture, data flows, and use cases Identify opportunities for optimization across CDP and Martech ecosystem Required Qualifications
Experience
5+ years in CDP, Martech, data engineering, or business systems analysis roles
CDP Expertise
Hands-on experience with leading CDP platforms (e.g., Lytics, Segment, Adobe RT-CDP, Salesforce CDP, mParticle, or similar)
Data & Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) Solid understanding of APIs, JSON, and data integration patterns (ETL/ELT) Experience designing data models, event taxonomies, and identity resolution frameworks
Martech & Use Case Knowledge
Understanding of customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign activation across channels Experience working within a broader Martech ecosystem (CRM, CMS, ESP, analytics tools)
Data Governance & Compliance
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDP) and consent management practices Strong focus on data quality, validation, and governance
Architecture & Scalability
Understanding of real-time vs batch processing and scalable data architecture Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Techno-Functional & Consulting Skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills Experience conducting workshops and driving requirement discovery
Delivery & Problem Solving
Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and cross-functional coordination Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, including QA/UAT processes
Collaboration & Leadership
Ability to work across business, marketing, and engineering teams Experience driving stakeholder adoption and enabling teams on platform usage
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with identity resolution, data privacy, and consent management frameworks Exposure to personalization, analytics, or marketing automation tools Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles Understanding of customer journey orchestration and lifecycle marketing What Success Looks Like Seamless implementation of CDP use cases that drive measurable business value Strong stakeholder adoption and confidence in the platform High-quality, scalable, and well-documented data architecture Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users Experience: 5-7 years Location: Pune/Bangalore What Do We Offer?
