Description

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking a highly experienced Information Security Analyst to protect organizational systems, applications, and data assets by ensuring secure system design, implementation, and operation. This role is responsible for analyzing security requirements, evaluating system functionality, supporting secure implementation efforts, and ensuring compliance with applicable security standards and policies.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, deep technical experience, and the ability to translate business and user requirements into secure, compliant system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and analyze system security requirements based on user input and business needs Evaluate business requirements and recommend secure technical alternatives Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and security documentation Conduct security testing and validation of development and production software to ensure proper functionality and compliance Support the secure implementation and integration of computer systems to meet customer requirements Identify system vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are properly implemented Support risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities Ensure adherence to applicable cybersecurity frameworks and organizational policies
