Oula delivers maternity care built around our patients—offering comprehensive support before, during, and after pregnancy. With fewer C-sections and higher VBAC success rates, our research-backed approach is delivering better outcomes. Our team of trusted midwives, OBGYNs, and dedicated care navigators ensure our patients get the type of care they need in the moments that matter most. Since launching in 2021, we’ve expanded to include Preconception and Miscarriage Care, Pregnancy Care, Postpartum Support, and Gynecology. We currently have 4 clinics in the tri-state area, with three new clinics opening in 2026! Come join our team of clinicians, innovators, operators, and technologists passionate about setting a new standard in maternity care. Oula is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to lead the daily execution and long-term health of our maternity practice. This is a frontline leadership role designed for an individual who thrives on complete operational ownership. You are the primary steward of the clinic’s success. While you have the full support of Oula’s leadership team, you are expected to navigate the daily complexities of a fast-growing practice with high autonomy. From coaching your team through emotional patient interactions to diagnosing workflow bottlenecks, you are the person who ensures the clinic runs like a well-oiled machine.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Command & Autonomy

Strategic Problem-Solving

Act as the primary point of contact for the clinic. You are empowered to diagnose operational issues and implement solutions independently, ensuring smooth continuity of care.

Process Architecture

Evaluate and refine clinic workflows (e.g., patient check-in, inventory management, teammate file management) to ensure they scale as Oula grows.

Scheduling Ownership

Own the complex puzzle of clinician on-call and monthly schedules, recognizing that a precise schedule is the foundation of provider morale and patient safety.

Facility & Compliance

Maintain a world-class environment. You are responsible for facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and ensuring all local healthcare regulations and licensure requirements are met. People Leadership & Coaching

Frontline Management

Hire, onboard, and manage a dedicated team of frontline teammates. You lead by example, setting the standard for professionalism and empathy.

Developing Talent

Coach your team on workplace norms and service excellence, providing real-time 360-degree feedback to foster a culture of growth.

Interpersonal Bridge

Act as the connective tissue between midwives, OBs, and care navigators to ensure the "Collaborative Care" model is felt by every patient. High-Service Patient Experience

Service Excellence

Apply a high-touch, hospitality-driven mindset to every patient interaction. You ensure that patient requests are handled with urgency and care.

External Liaison

Manage the critical communication flow between the clinic and our partnering hospitals, ensuring that our providers and patients are always aligned.

About You

High Agency

You don’t wait for a playbook; you help write it. You take pride in being the person who "gets things done."

EQ + Analytical Rigor

You are as comfortable navigating a sensitive team dynamic as you are analyzing a spreadsheet to track clinic KPIs.

Resilient & Adaptive

You are energized by the "beautiful chaos" of an early-stage company and are comfortable managing through variation and change.

A "Player-Coach"

You lead from the front. You’re happy to jump in and answer phones or support a patient if the team needs you. Experience & Qualifications

2+ years of Direct People Management

Experience hiring, managing, and motivating a team is essential.

5+ years of Operational Experience

A background in high-service environments (e.g., hospitality, high-end retail) or healthcare is preferred.

Clinical Literacy

While you don’t need to be an OB expert, prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is strongly preferred to help you hit the ground running with our providers.
