Overview As a senior member of the PE Operations Team, the Vice President, Treasury Operations will play a key role in overseeing and executing critical treasury and fund transaction activities. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in wire processing, cash movements, and treasury operations, with responsibility for reviewing and approving transactions, enhancing controls, and driving process efficiencies across the platform. This role is differentiated by a higher level of ownership, risk oversight, and project leadership, including mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic operational initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Review and approve cash wire and FX transactions (domestic and international), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal controls and security protocols Act as a subject matter expert in treasury operations, including wire setup, payment workflows, and banking relationships Oversee and enhance wire-related controls and procedures, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks Partner with internal teams (Investment Accounting, Client Operations, Technology) to resolve complex cash and transaction issues Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, scalability, and operational efficiency Identify opportunities for automation and emerging technology (including AI-driven solutions) to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort Interface with custodian banks, administrators, and external partners to resolve escalated issues and improve processes Oversee cash activity and support the resolution of complex reconciliation breaks Ensure adherence to all internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards Develop a deep understanding of Adams Street’s investment strategies and operational infrastructure to support ongoing enhancements Review and approve entries for both investment and investor transactions
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Undergraduate degree required 7+ years of relevant experience in treasury operations, cash management, or financial operations within financial services Experience with the Private Equity and/or Private Credit asset class Demonstrated experience with wire processing, approvals, and banking platforms, including both domestic and international payments Experience operating in a control-focused environment with strong risk awareness

Technical Skills
