About the team Worldpay, LLC seeks Interactive Voice Response -Engineer Specialist in Cincinnati, OH to design, develop, and maintain IVR applications using strategic cloud-based IVR platforms such as Nuance . What you will be doing The Interactive Voice Response -Engineer Specialist will c ollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications .
Additionally, the role will
Implement and integrate IVR solutions with backend systems and databases. Optimize IVR applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IVR systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborate with Architects to make sure that we have 99% uptime . Design the paths a caller takes through the IVR system. Write code and scripts using languages like VoiceXML to handle interactions. Integrate speech recognition (ASR), Tune Natural Language parameters for better call routing, and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies for enhanced user experiences. Connect the IVR system with databases to retrieve or store information. Integrate the IVR with other systems such as CRM or ticketing systems to provide more comprehensive services.
Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: Building and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs using WCF and .NET Core and utilizing tools such as Postman, Fiddler, and Swagger for testing and API documentation; Building and implementing solutions in Web and Front-End technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, and JQuery ; Building and implementing database frameworks using MS SQL Server technologies, SSIS, and SSRS. Working in Agile Project management methodology ; Building and implementing IVR solutions using IVR technologies such Genesys Intelligence Automation and Genesys Pure Connect; Building and implementing call-flows using IVR technologies Genesys Intelligence Automation and Genesys Pure Connect utilizing VXML capabilities.
