The Role We’re looking for a driven Manager - LATAM Expansion Licenses to own Nium’s regulatory licencing strategy across Latin America. You will lead new market entry across priority countries; from regulatory strategy and licensing to launch readiness. This is a high-impact role collaborating closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Treasury, Tech, Ops, and Commercial teams to deliver successful market launches.

What You’ll Own

Work with the Head of Global Expansion to execute Nium’s LATAM licence roadmap. For each market in the roadmap you will

Identify the optimal route to market based on regulatory environment, banking ecosystem and Nium’s product requirements. Lead licensing strategy and regulatory engagement in each target market, owning end to end the application and authorisation process. Establish local entities and create a hiring plan based on license requirements. Track budgets, risks, timelines, and report on a periodic basis to Head of Global Expansion and the wider senior leadership at Nium.

What We’re Looking For

You should have

5+ years of experience in the legal, compliance or consulting space. Strong experience in fintech, payments, e-money, cards, or stablecoins. Proven experience managing licensing projects in LATAM markets. Strong understanding of regional regulatory frameworks covering payments and electronic money. Experience working with regulators. Strong commercial and project management skills Fluency in Spanish and English required
