Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic fresh graduates who are passionate about Networking, Cybersecurity, AI/ML and Automation to join our SonicOS QA team. As a Test Associate Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers to test next-generation firewall features , build automation scripts , and ensure high product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Execute functional and regression test cases for SonicOS features Learn and contribute to automation frameworks and test scripts Assist in converting manual test cases into automated tests Perform basic debugging using logs and tools like tcpdump/Wireshark Report defects clearly and track them using tools like JIRA Work with Dev and QA teams to validate fixes Participate in Agile/Scrum activities

Required Skills

Basic understanding of Networking concepts : TCP/IP, Routing, NAT, VLANs, TCP/UDP, L7 protocols such as FTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH Fundamental knowledge of Cybersecurity/Firewalls (VPN, IPS, etc.) Programming knowledge in Python Familiarity with automation tools (any one: Selenium / Playwright / PyTest / Robot) Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands Good problem-solving and analytical skills Good to Have (Optional) Exposure to packet analysis tools (Wireshark/tcpdump) Academic/project experience in networking or security Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) Awareness of AI tools for productivity Soft Skills Strong willingness to learn and grow Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and curiosity to debug issues

Education

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related fields Why Join Us?
