About the Role
One of our operating companies, Lancom , is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their Auckland team. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of technology projects by keeping plans on track, stakeholders aligned and communication flowing. You will work closely with Project Managers, engineers and customers to ensure projects are well organised, documented and delivered on time. You will initially report to the CTO, with a planned transition into the PMO as the function continues to evolve. This is a coordination-first role and ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, follow-through and enabling projects to run smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate project schedules, documentation and status updates Support Project Managers with planning, milestones, budgets and reporting Track actions, risks, and issues, proactively following up to keep projects moving Prepare clear meeting notes, status reports and stakeholder communications Act as a key point of contact for assigned projects Support project initiation, ensuring approvals and documentation are in place Assist with low-complexity projects under guidance Maintain version control and “as-built” documentation Capture updates from engineers (including blockers and delays) and communicate clearly to stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools Skills & Experience 2-3 years previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role (ideally within ICT or Managed Services) Highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities. Communicates clearly, enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate documentation Excellent time management and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines A collaborative, customer-focused approach Exposure to technical environments (e.g. infrastructure, cloud, or systems) Desirable Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or Project Management (or equivalent experience) PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), or CAPM certification Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Benefits Flexible working arrangements Supportive leadership and clear career pathways Exposure to meaningful, real-world technology projects A collaborative, down-to-earth culture that values learning and improvement Health insurance
