Description
The Electrical Gas & Liquids Engineer II is responsible for the planning, design, operation, and reliability of electrical systems supporting natural gas, NGL, and liquid pipeline and facility infrastructure. This requires a high level of knowledge and experience working with pipeline and facility design codes and safety requirements. They effectively communicate and coordinate project within scope as well as participate in project scoping, cost estimates, provide guidance for design plans, material selection, constructability, and calculations.

Design to client and regulatory requirements Manage small to mid-size projects to schedule and budget Keep Milhouse Engineering management advised of all quality, schedule, and budget variances in a timely manner Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to quality, schedule, and budget requirements Prepare project documents and reports Maintain project files Create and enforcing project quality plan Data and document entry into various platforms Report safety, health, and quality issues to management Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation, and claims documentation
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution 3 years of electrical engineering design experience Oil & gas, midstream, utilities, or industrial facilities experience required Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Moderate experience with Deltek Project Planning Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Autocad and/or MicroStation Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, AGA, API and other applicable codes and standards Knowledge of Primavera P6 schedule analysis Familiar with discipline specific design software and design management systems Previous experience managing a large number of small deadlines SKM and/or ETAP proficiency I&C design experience Instrumentation selection experience (PIT, TIT, FIT, LIT, Etc.) P&ID development capability
