Job requirements Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our dynamic legal team as Associate Legal. The candidate must have post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a strong interest in advancing their career within an in-house legal environment. Play a crucial role in supporting the legal function of the organization by providing legal advice, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Work Location • Bengaluru Industry • Information Technology & Services Employment Type • Full-time (IST) Key Responsibilities • Risk Identification and Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them. Support the business in risk assessment and legal strategy development. Coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure management of contractual risks. • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and licensing agreements and certain client contracts. • Legal Advice & Support: Provide clear and concise legal advice to various departments within the organization on matters related to commercial contracting issues. Qualifications • Education: o Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized institution. o Admission to practice law in any Indian state. • Experience: o 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally as an in-house legal department or with a reputed law firm. • Technical Skills: o Solid understanding of corporate and commercial law, with experience in contract negotiation and management. o Familiarity with compliance regulations and corporate governance practices. • Soft Skills: o Strong communication and interpersonal skills. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure with a keen attention to detail. o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment. Preferred Skills and Attributes • Prior experience in an in-house legal team is advantageous. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
