Fellowship Program Details Shift Requirements: 40h/week (includes weekends) Fellow Compensation: $104,000 annually + benefits Program Length: 6 months What We Offer Curated educational experience designed to introduce and inspire a fulfilling career in acute care medicine Mentorship, Didactics, Clinical rounds Proctored clinical shifts with supportive clinical and administrative management The opportunity to grow and scale with a dynamic startup who is changing the way people think about healthcare Competitive pay, advancement opportunities, and comprehensive benefits for full-time employees Full-time and part-time positions upon successful completion of fellowship program What You'll Learn Provide exceptional treatment, collaborative care options (within the scope of urgent care), including physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment Order and interpret x-rays, lab results and EKGs Triage and manage patients thoroughly and efficiently, maintaining a steady flow to avoid long wait times Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, and minor surgical procedures, such as wound closure and management, I&D, foreign body removal Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cysts Perform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers/toes, including nursemaid’s elbow reductions Apply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliances
About You
Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license Must be willing to obtain DOT certification prior to start date Eligibility for and willingness to obtain DEA registration, controlled substance license, and BLS/ACLS certifications prior to employment start
