Data Collections - Team Lead

We are looking for a hands-on and people-oriented lead for Data Collection & Operations to lead our growing Marketplace Data Acquisition team in our Pune office. This role is a blend of team leadership and active contribution to our daily data collection efforts. The ideal candidate has experience managing operational teams, excellent process management skills, and is excited to roll up their sleeves when needed.

Roles and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a team of Data Collection Specialists. Ensure data is collected accurately, consistently, and on schedule from a variety of marketplace platforms. Develop and enforce SOPs and best practices for manual and automated data collection. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, and QA teams to meet business needs. Track team performance and provide regular feedback and training to elevate execution quality. Actively participate in data collection during high-volume periods or for complex sources. Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to workflows. Contribute to planning and onboarding of new data sources and processes. Maintain adherence to security and confidentiality standards in all data operations.

Technical skills 4+ years of experience in data operations, content ops, or related roles; 1+ years of team leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and time zones. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for clean, reliable data. Working knowledge of tools like Google Sheets, Google Chrome, shared drives, and S3. Process-oriented mindset with an ability to document and improve recurring tasks. Comfort with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Functional skills Familiarity with eCommerce marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, or Flipkart. Exposure to Chrome extensions or automation tools. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering and analytics.
