This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement. The Position Wilson Elser is seeking a skilled and motivated Employment, Immigration, and Labor Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a nationally recognized firm and provide comprehensive legal counsel to a diverse range of clients across public and private sectors in employment, education, and labor law.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage a litigation caseload, from inception through resolution. Represent employers, private schools, and other institutions in a wide variety of employment, labor, and education law matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract and collective bargaining issues. Provide day-to-day legal advice and training to clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment, education and labor laws. Collaborate with Partners and senior attorneys on complex matters and trial preparation. Regularly handle court appearances, mediations and depositions Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case updates and strategic guidance.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school Admitted to practice in the State of New York Admitted to practice in the SDNY and EDNY 3+ years of legal experience with a focus on employment, immigration, and/or education law and litigation Experience handling discrimination and wage and hour claim under federal, state, and local laws Knowledge of Immigration practice and experience processing PERM, H1b and other visas Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
