Senior Data Analyst - Retail
Description
As a Senior Data Analyst – Retail at Suitsupply, you will own the analytical foundation that powers decisions across our global store network. You will shape how retail performance is measured, surface insights that challenge assumptions and build scalable intelligence tools that enable Retail and Operations leadership to act with confidence. You will report to the Global Head of Store Operations while partnering at the leadership level with I.T., Business Control, Supply Chain and Retail. We are looking for someone who brings both technical depth and commercial instinct - someone who sees data as a lever for business transformation, and who thrives at the intersection of rigour and speed.
What you'll do
Define and maintain the retail performance framework — owning KPI definitions, metric hierarchies, and how store health is measured across regions and programs. Lead exploratory and predictive analyses — demand signals, labour planning, conversion drivers, and seasonal trends — that directly inform commercial and operational strategy. Act as a thought partner to Retail and Operations leadership, translating ambiguous business questions into clear analytical frameworks and tackling the complex, high-value challenges that go beyond standard reporting. Build and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools, with robust processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency and transparency, enabling teams to answer 90% of their questions. Partner with I.T. and Engineering to influence data infrastructure decisions, keeping the analytical layer robust and future-proof. Collaborate with Retail Management, Store Operations, Business Control, and Supply Chain on key initiatives, driving adoption of data products across the business.
Who you are
5+ years in analytics or a data-focused role, with a track record of influencing real business decisions - retail or omnichannel experience strongly preferred. Expert-level SQL; hands-on BigQuery and dbt required. Proficiency in Looker or a comparable BI platform expected. Strong Python skills for data wrangling, automation and building reusable analytical pipelines. Experience with statistical methods, forecasting models, or A/B test design - you are comfortable with ambiguity and know how to structure a problem before solving it. Familiar with modern data workflow tooling (dbt Cloud, Airflow, or equivalent); able to work across the full analytical stack, not just the presentation layer. Able to distill complex, multi-variable findings into clear recommendations for senior non-technical audiences - without losing the rigour underneath.
