Description

Navan is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our Business Technology team. You will build and maintain integrations that connect our internal business systems, primarily using Workato, with opportunities to use Python and work on new technologies, including AI-related integrations. description

What You’ll Do

Develop and manage data integration workflows between platforms using tools like Workato that are efficient, scalable, and performant Collaborate with stakeholders (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Support, Finance, People/HR) to design efficient and scalable solutions Maintain existing data integration flows, including bug fixes and feature requests Use an object-oriented language (preferably Python) for custom logic or integrations where needed Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs using JSON/XML documents Apply ETL techniques and data modeling approaches to design robust data flows Write SQL scripts to analyze datasets and troubleshoot integration issues

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience working with an integration platform (Workato preferred if multiple platforms) 2+ years of demonstrated experience in an object-oriented language (e.g., Java, Python) Experience integrating with REST & SOAP APIs using JSON/XML documents Experience with different ETL techniques and data modeling approaches Experience writing SQL scripts to analyze datasets Fluency in the English language
