What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Technical Project Manager with expertise in data center deployments to join our EMEA team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and server technologies, combined with strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will lead the full lifecycle of multiple simultaneous deployment projects—from design and construction to testing, commissioning, and handover to operations.

About the role

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, facilitating clear communication and resource allocation to meet fast-paced timelines. Your day-to-day involves developing project schedules and budgets, identifying risks, and ensuring all deployments meet technical quality standards and local regulations. You will provide technical guidance on data center design while identifying opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency. This role requires the ability to be on-site to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project execution.

Who You Are

5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in data center deployment, whitespace project management, or technical project management in data centers. Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion using standard methodologies and tools. In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, and relevant security protocols. Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to travel to data center locations as needed, sometimes on short notice. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

Preferred

Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies. Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, or similar. Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk. You love to lead the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects and ensure operational excellence. You're curious about process optimization and implementing innovative solutions to enhance data center efficiency.
