This role is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of aluminum raw materials—including but not limited flat-rolled aluminum and ingots—critical to our maritime manufacturing operations. In this position, you will identify and manage reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing on orders, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality aluminum materials while meeting cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers; identify the need for new suppliers to maintain a resilient supply base. Negotiate pricing as required to achieve optimal commercial outcomes. Collaborate with production, engineering, and planning teams to understand material specifications and forecast future demand. Ensure materials meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Stay informed on industry developments, advancements in aluminum production, and sourcing best practices.
