We are building a world-class, in-house Facilities Technician team to provide dedicated, on-site support for our rapidly growing warehouse network. As a Regional Maintenance & Systems Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone of this new model. You will own the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our facility systems, fixing equipment, and help with automation efforts.
This is not just a maintenance role—it is a leadership position where you will develop a team, set the standard for regional excellence, and ensure our fulfillment operations remain safe, scalable, and highly reliable.
How you will achieve success
Maintenance Strategy & Standards
You will architect regional preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for MHE, conveyance, racking, and facility infrastructure (HVAC, Electrical, Life-Safety). You ensure we are compliant, consistent, and ahead of the curve.
System-Level Troubleshooting
You are the "Level 3" escalation point for complex downtime events. You lead root cause analysis (RCA) and turn chronic failures into long-term reliability wins.
Controls & Automation Expertise
You serve as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for: Conveyance systems, sensors, photo-eyes, and PLC-adjacent components. Integration between mechanical, electrical, and controls layers.
Asset & CMMS Ownership
You own the data. You ensure accurate asset registries and high-quality work order data within our CMMS to drive capital forecasting and lifecycle planning.
People Leadership
You will directly manage, coach, and technical-mentor a regional team of Facilities Technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and safety.
Vendor Management
You lead the relationships with OEMs and integrators, managing scope, cost, and quality for specialized repairs and expansions.
What experience will help you in this role
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent field experience.
Experience
5+ years supporting facilities, MHE, or automation in warehouse/distribution or manufacturing environments.
Leadership
Proven experience managing technicians or maintenance teams across multiple sites.
Technical Breadth
Strong understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), conveyance, and integrated MHE.
Systems
Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., MaintainX, UpKeep, Limble, Maximo).
