Purpose of Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping industrial edge solutions that power Weir’s IIoT platform across global mining and minerals operations. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge edge technologies, combining software engineering with real-world industrial deployment. The role offers strong technical ownership, exposure to complex customer environments, and the chance to make a tangible impact on safety, efficiency, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, deployment, and lifecycle improvement of industrial edge solutions across devices, gateways, and connectivity layers Develop and support secure, reliable edge software and integration components for use in demanding industrial environments Work hands-on with industrial protocols and OT connectivity to integrate equipment, sensors, and systems with Weir's digital platform Support field deployment activities including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimisation of edge solutions

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
