As Strategic Account Director Sports you will
Utilize your network to identify and engage with high-potential leads and key decision-makers Extend our customer base within the top 1st football leagues in europe and their teams Build relationships with potential new clients to understand their specific needs and desires, and defining tailored solution approaches Take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle , managing various stakeholders including User Buyers, Technical Buyers, Economic Buyers, and CX teams Negotiate and close contracts with new customers to drive business growth Promote cross-departmental collaboration by working closely with Customer Experience, Development, and Legal to ensure internal alignment and project success
What you will need to succeed in this role
5+ years experience within the football industry or 10+ years in other sports, sports-ticketing A successfully completed university degree , ideally with a focus on Business Administration or a related field A strong affinity for the sports event industry , preferably with professional experience in this segment Proven track record in end-to-end sales of complex, high-touch products, ideally within the B2B software (SaaS) sector Strong customer orientation paired with exceptional problem-solving skills High levels of enthusiasm and excellent communication skills Business-fluent level proficiency in English
