Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to support our operations team. This role focuses primarily on managing receiving documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all paperwork related to incoming materials is properly filed and tracked. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Receive and review shipment paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness. Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips. Maintain and organize all receiving documentation, both physical and digital. File and archive receiving records according to company procedures and compliance standards. Communicate with suppliers, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies. Input and update shipment and inventory data in internal systems. Prepare and distribute receiving reports and other required documentation. Assist with periodic audits of receiving records and inventory logs. Support continuous improvement of documentation and filing processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. 1–2 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, or administrative support preferred. Strong organizational and filing skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic data entry systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with supply chain or warehouse environments a plus.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands Full-time / on-site position. May require occasional coordination with suppliers or logistics partners outside regular hours. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional standing and walking within the office. Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports. Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies. Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages).
