Description

As a People Relations Specialist at [solidcore], you'll support the day-to-day people operations that help our teams thrive as we continue to grow. Reporting to the Senior People Business Partner, with a dotted-line partnership to the People Business Partner team, this role plays a key part in supporting employee relations, performance management, and core HR processes with consistency, care, and attention to detail, while operating in alignment with [solidcore]'s values and commitment to an inclusive, respectful, and accountable workplace.

In this role, you'll be hands-on with the operational side of the employee lifecycle, including employee relations intake, performance tracking, compliance support, and offboarding. You'll serve as a first point of contact for field leaders and employees on HR process questions, help maintain accurate documentation and systems, and support People Team initiatives that improve clarity, reduce risk, and strengthen the overall employee experience.

You'll be responsible for

Employee Relations & Investigations Support Manage intake, documentation, and initial outreach for low-level employee relations matters, including policy violations, attendance concerns, and AllVoices submissions, ensuring timely and compliant follow-up. Coordinate scheduling and logistics for investigation interviews, disciplinary conversations, and related meetings. Maintain accurate, confidential employee relations records in Workday and shared documentation systems. Performance Management Program Administration Track performance actions including PIPs, corrective actions, informal feedback, and mid-year and end-of-year review timelines in Workday and People Team trackers. Support leaders with logistics, documentation, and follow-up related to performance review cycles, ensuring alignment with established calendars and deadlines. Prepare reporting summaries, monitor completion status, and flag trends or overdue items for review with the People Business Partner team. Process daily offboarding activities by removing access to all required systems for coaches and core crew in a timely and compliant manner. Compliance & Policy Operations Support ongoing compliance activities including I-9 reverifications, final pay tracking, and ADA and leave of absence status monitoring. Prepare and maintain template communications and ensure required documentation is completed, stored, and updated consistently. Serve as the primary liaison with Equifax for unemployment claims, coordinating timely and accurate responses to minimize organizational risk. Program Coordination & Systems Support Support the rollout and administration of People Team initiatives such as handbook updates, succession planning activities, and background check processes. Maintain and update one-pagers, SOPs, and process documentation for recurring HR workflows. Assist with data pulls and reporting related to turnover, employee relations trends, performance distribution, and exit survey insights to support People Business Partner decision-making. Field Leader & Employee Experience Support Serve as a first point of operational contact for field leaders and employees on HR process questions, including corrective actions, attendance concerns, and leave initiation. Provide guidance grounded in established policies and SOPs, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the People Business Partner team as appropriate. Help strengthen People Team visibility and trust through clear communication, responsiveness, and consistent support.

It will be helpful if you possess the following

2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or People Operations, with hands-on involvement in employee relations and performance management processes. Experience supporting employee relations matters, including intake, documentation, investigations, corrective actions, and consistent application of company policies. Working knowledge of employment law fundamentals and HR compliance practices, including attendance management, leave administration, and final pay considerations. Experience supporting performance management programs, including tracking PIPs, corrective actions, and review cycles. Strong comfort working in HR systems (Workday preferred) to maintain employee records, document cases, track actions, and pull reports. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience drafting employee and leader-facing communications. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel for tracking and reporting. HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
