Position Summary

This role also supports regulatory across product development, claims review, registration, packaging compliance, EPR and sustainability. Under direction from the Regulatory Manager/Senior Manager, this role will support regulatory review of ingredients, raw materials and formulas for cosmetics and OTC products. The Regulatory Coordinator will also support global product and site registrations. Must be highly collaborative with a high-performance team mindset and work seamlessly across business functions and external partners.

Responsibilities

Assist with gathering documentation to complete regulatory review of ingredients, raw materials and formulas. Support product registration and notification for all e.l.f. Beauty brands, interfacing with cross-functional teams. This includes creating, reviewing and submitting required documentation, tracking registration status and timelines. Collaborate with consultants, distributors and manufacturers to ensure all compliance requirements are met and registrations/notifications are completed according to brand timelines for global product launches. Assist with registration and reporting needs to support global Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements.

Requirements

Experience in the cosmetic industry in a Regulatory Affairs role preferred A science background (College degree or higher) required. Working knowledge of Cosmetics products regulatory requirements with an emphasis on color cosmetics and skin care. Working knowledge or some experience with regulatory review of ingredients, labeling, notification/registration, product claims, or packaging requirements a bonus. Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for ingredients, finished products, claims, packaging, and artwork requirements. Highly collaborative. Works well individually and in a team environment to achieve results. Excellent organizational skills. Exhibits strong communication skills, both written and orally. Comfortable learning and working with web-based databases and submission portals. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and PowerPoint. Must be self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking. Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and quality of information generated.
